Shahriar Coupal, ASA Director of Advertising Policy and Practice, oversees the organisation’s Regulatory Policy, Copy Advice and Compliance functions. He is responsible for running the Committees of Advertising Practice, which includes updating the UK Advertising Codes and guidance, and running of various CAP Panels, and the Advertising Advisory Committee.
