Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe is Chief Executive Officer(A) of the Gambling Authority Botswana a state-owned enterprise tasked with the regulation of all gambling activities in Botswana. Peter’s main role as the CEO is to provide leadership in promoting the economic development of Botswana through the gambling sector focused approach that is aligned with the strategy of Botswana Gambling Authority and the Botswana’s national priorities, policies and strategies. His role focuses on ensuring optimal stakeholder engagement, strategy execution and organisational performance. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer within the Botswana Gambling Authority.
Peter is a corporate executive with strong business acumen leveraging over 18 years of experience working for large State-Owned Entities and Private Companies which have presence in Botswana and the African region. He has over 6 years as an Executive within the gambling regulatory space.
