Jo Abergel is co-founder of the Ethical Gambling Forum and the Count Me In and Break The Bias DEIB conferences. Through her training company, Rock Learning, Jo works with leadership teams in the gambling sector on DEIB topics. Her Managing Diversity in the Workplace course is accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management. Jo includes DEIB scenarios in her everyday leadership training to demonstrate the ease and importance of incorporating these topics into an organisation's culture. Jo is passionate about challenging the gambling industry on the ethical dilemmas it faces, including problem gambling, ESG, financial crime prevention, DEIB and the broader ESG umbrella. As previous Chairperson of Childline Gibraltar, Jo has worked with young people affected by problem gambling, gender and identity issues and a wide range of mental health concerns.
