Gifty-Rita Amoah is a Deputy Director, Legal with the Gaming Commission of Ghana. She has over 12 years’ experience as a Legal practitioner 7 of which in the Gaming industry.

She has a BA. in Philosophy and Political Science, LLB, LLM. Oil and Gas all from the University of Ghana A Certificate in Regulation and an Executive Masters in Leadership from the London School of Economics.

She has been at the forefront of reform and restructuring at the Commission to make it a modern regulator, fit to harness new opportunities and deal with emerging challenges.

Gifty-Rita currently oversees the IICE Directorate and leads the legislative review and amendment team which is tasked with amending the current Gaming Act.

She is a fashion enthusiast who loves to create art/crafts as a hobby and has trained as a fashion designer, a balloon artist and a beadwork artist.

Her daughter, Kamalma and Catholic Boarding School education are what inspire her to thrive to live an authentic life each day.
