Consumer protection is at the heart of the gambling industry and it dictates the choices made by its various components – is the message that ICE London will carry in 2020 through its various initiatives that will include:
Consumer Protection Zone
Returning for the third year, the Consumer Protection Zone will be the focal point for discussions and product demonstrations that advance the industry’s efforts in that critical area. Hosting non-for-profit Responsible Gambling groups and suppliers whose main product centres around Responsible Gambling, it will also include a stage for talks and product showcase (programme tbc).
Over 30 percent bigger than last year, Consumer Protection Zone is moving to a more prominent area in N1 (the first hall on the left when entering from Custom House entrance), right next to the VIP Lounge, guaranteeing a traffic of the show’s most influential and high level visitors.
B2C operators sponsor Consumer Protection Zone to raise funds for an RG Charity
Another fundraising round has been undertaken by ICE London, aiming to raise even more than the £35 000 donated to Gordon Moody in 2019. The forwarding thinking operators who put safe gambling at the centre of their thinking are invited to join the list of Consumer Protection Zone sponsors to profile themselves alongside those efforts at the world’s largest gambling show. All proceeds from their sponsorship will be donated to a charity chosen together before the show.

Pop-up Talks on Consumer Protection
To demonstrate that consumer protection is not a thought isolated to one area, but affects all part of the gambling ecosystem, ICE London will host a number of pop-up talks around the showfloor.
