Paul Sternburg has more than 25 years of experience working in gaming and entertainment, during which time he has distinguished himself as one of the U.S. lottery industry’s most imaginative and knowledgeable voices.

Paul has extensive experience in managing the operations and leading the business strategies of lotteries across the U.S.

He began his work in the lottery industry with the Massachusetts State Lottery’s sales division. He went on to serve as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, during which time he helped lead the CLC to several consecutive record-breaking sales years and returns to the state’s general fund, including three of the four highest instant ticket sales years in the organization’s history.

Paul later returned to lead the Massachusetts State Lottery as its Executive Director from 2011-2014. Under his leadership, Massachusetts consistently posted year-over-year revenue growth with annual sales increasing from $4.1B to $4.45B. 

He has continued to work with a number of lotteries to leverage team talents, technology and partnerships to maximize revenue returned to good causes while facilitating responsible growth. 

In 2014, he launched his own consulting company, PRS Strategies, LLC., with the Michigan Lottery as his first client. Since Paul began providing expertise to the organization, instant ticket sales in Michigan have more than tripled from $827M to $2.44B.

Earlier this year, Paul joined the Allwyn team as Head of Business Development where he is playing an important role in bringing the company's digital game portfolio to the North American Market. In addition to his work with lotteries, Paul serves as the Vice President of the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health’s Board of Directors, an organization he has been affiliated with since 2017.
