Oliver is CEO of The Denstone Group, which offers strategic consultancy on hospitality and casino-focused real estate. Since 2015 he has been based in Las Vegas.

In addition to teaching, lecturing and speaking, he writes in-depth features for Global Gaming Business, is a columnist at Gaming America and Gambling Insider Magazines, and has a selection of research papers on strategic trends in Las Vegas and gaming.

Oliver holds an MSc in Real Estate Finance and Investment and an MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategy; his MBA thesis was on the topic of Strategic Competitive Advantage in Las Vegas Casinos.
