Dr. Mike Reaves is the Head of Worldwide Solutions for Betting & Gaming (B&G) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He works closely with customers to develop technical strategies and leverages AWS technologies to develop purpose-built solutions for B&G customers. A veteran of the B&G industry, Dr. Reaves is an AWS certified Solutions Architect with over 25 years of software development and IT experience. He founded and led iGaming operator and platform developer CashBet. Prior to that, Dr. Reaves held executive leadership positions at US Digital Gaming and CyberArts (sold to Ultimate Gaming) where he expanded the product to include poker, casino, bingo, and PAM systems. Dr. Reaves has worked with online gambling operators and lotteries around the world to specify and implement iGaming platforms. An avid poker player, Dr. Reaves has been retained by tribal interests in the US for his online poker expertise. Dr. Reaves holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Connecticut.
