Mikael Westerling is the Chief Sales Officer and a Co-Founder of GRID Esports (est. 2018), a data platform serving the game industry with in-game data infrastructure, data management and asset distribution solutions. Mikael has over 15 years of experience working in the regulated betting industry with roles that cater to various areas of the data value chain in a wagering context. His expertise also focuses on regulatory frameworks and integrity challenges.

Prior to joining GRID, Mikael worked in traditional sports for companies such as RunningBall (now Stats Perform), InPlay Sports Data and Betgenius. Mikael’s transition to esports started in 2015 and since then Mikael has been dedicated to unlocking the potential of in-game data for the games industry.
