Anthony Lawrance has worked in and around the Greater Bay Area, which includes Macau, Hong Kong and the nine cities of Guangdong, since 1994. He founded Greater Bay Insight, a consultancy, and Intelligence Macau, the city's premier independent market research company since 2010. Mr Lawrance was previously a journalist, editing publications including South China Morning Post, Taipei Times, Destination Macau and Macau Inc.

Mr. Lawrance consults regularly for institutional clients invested in the region. He has become a trusted source of insight into Macau's unique socio-politico-economic system, speaking regularly at gaming industry and China investment conferences. He also writes regular analyses of the political and regulatory environment in the region.
