Alec Thomson is CEO of the Arizona Lottery, one of the fastest-growing lotteries in North America, with annual sales exceeding $1.5 billion. Appointed in April 2023 by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Alec is working to maximize lottery revenue in a responsible manner to drive meaningful impact for communities across Arizona. His key priorities for accomplishing this include traditional and non-traditional retail expansion, engaging the next generation of lottery players with innovative products and distribution tactics, and driving expanded engagement in core products. Alec is an alumnus of Arizona State University and hails from the US/Mexico border community of Nogales, Arizona.
